Naperville’s population is maturing. To retain the character and longevity of our community, we need to provide housing options for our retirees, empty nesters and disabled residents, so we can keep parents and grandparents living close to their children and grandchildren. We must first of all hold the line on property taxes so our seniors aren’t priced out of their homes. We must also encourage and support developers who want to build quality, affordable senior housing to serve the needs of our aging population over the next 10-20 years.
